Man wanted in shootout arrested | The Post and Courier, Charleston SC - News, Sports, Entertainment: "Montre Desean Brown, 19, of Alabama Drive, is charged with attempted murder, Dorchester County sheriff's Capt. James Nettles said. Brown was being held in the Dorchester County Detention Center pending a bond hearing. Brown was arrested Tuesday night by North Charleston police, who found him at an apartment complex off Rivers Avenue, Nettles said.

All tips are confidential.Brown is accused of being one of three men involved in a mid-afternoon shootout July 30 on Ladson Road near Hamlet Street. The men were firing handguns at the driver of a minivan, which had stopped in the median. The driver returned fire with a handgun, then drove off."
